PT TOYO KANETSU INDONESIA (TKI) was established in 1974 as a joint venture between PERTAMINA – one of the worlds leading oil producers, TOYO KANETSU K.K., Japan (TKK) – a world recognized leader in tank business, and OTHERS.

TKI, located in Jakarta as our main office and its fabrication facilities in Batam, has been serving the petroleum, natural gas and petrochemical industries in Indonesia and neighboring countries in the field of engineering, fabrication, and construction of various type and size of tanks for many years. TKI has successfully constructed the largest LNG tanks in Indonesia, having a storage capacity of 170,000 m3. With hundreds of tanks installed across the Indonesian archipelago, TKI is recognized as the leader in the field and continues to set new records.

A reliable fabrication shop at Batam Plant, coupled with extensive construction experience built up over the years, TKI has received high praise from clients, both domestic and overseas. In recognition of its capabilities, TKI has been awarded numerous major projects throughout Indonesia. Such projects included the supply of structural steel facilities, vessels, and spheres. Fabrication of spherical tanks at its own facility in Indonesia was pioneered by TKI.
